Chef Enrique Panigua defines a Bistro as a restaurant that uses nothing but the freshest ingredients, while sticking to seasonal trends prepared in a rustic yet refined way with touches of comforting elements. As the original Executive Chef here at Exchange Street Bistro, we are proud to announce his return after his many travels around the world perfecting his culinary skills to carry on the role of Executive Chef by leading our culinary team and showcasing his definition of what a true Bistro is.
Enrique is a Central American Native who grew up in Cambridge surrounded by multicultural culinary influences in this melting pot of a city. As an experienced traveling Chef, he has picked up many of his various techniques not only from Boston and its surrounding areas, but also while making his way throughout Europe, Spain and much of the Americas. He boasts a well rounded resume from working at the Copley Plaza Hotel, Harvest in Cambridge, Ironside Grille in Charlestown and Il Panino to name a few.
With Chef Enriques’ background he has brought his eclectic food style to the Bistro and has featured his skills throughout our Tapas Menu, Seasonally paired dishes & creative ingredients, along with the rest of our menus. Chef has always had a true passion for perfection, creativity and enjoyment in his cooking and it shows through his work.
